When I look up to the sky
I don’t see fairytales
Or unicorns in the clouds
The veil of superstition
Has been parted and I see the truth
The vastness of the universe
And I am just a small speck
One of my favorite artists is Amanda Palmer. I’ve loved her music from the first time I heard The Dresden Dolls “Coin Operated Boy”, and as I’ve followed her career and read her words I’ve come to love her as a person. Her music touches my heart, and I love that she encourages people to embrace who they are.
This sketch was done in Photoshop CS6 using my Wacom tablet.
Here is one of my favorite songs by Amanda Palmer. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
